Roast Chicken with all the trimmings

Gluten-Free   (tiny bit of butter in the gravy, otherwise it would also be Dairy-Free)

Everyone's favourite comfort food - generous, thick slices of perfectly tender free-range chicken breast, with roast potatoes, roast sweet potato, carrots, beans and our delicious home-made gravy.

You can see the 7 thick slices of chicken in this photo. (There may be more, smaller slices in a portion, or fewer, larger slices - but the amount of chicken will always be the same.)

The roast potatoes will be fluffy and soft. (If you prefer them a little crispier on the outside, just pop them in a 200 degree oven for 15 minutes - as we did for this photo.)

There's a lot of fuss attached to making a roast meal at home - buying the meat and vegetables; peeling and slicing the potatoes and sweet potatoes for roasting, then basting them from time to time; peeling and slicing the carrots and beans, and then steaming or boiling them; making your own stock, and then turning it into gravy with the pan juices. And finally all the washing up! We've done all that for you. By hand, with love and care, so that it will taste just like a home-made dinner. All the flavour, all the comfort - without all the fuss.

Ingredients:
Roast  chicken breast (32%), roast potato, roast sweet potato, carrot, gravy pure chicken stock (water chicken bones, onion, carrot, celery, bayleaf, sugar, salt, vegetable powers (onion and garlic), oil, chicken fat, spices, bay leaves, peppercorns) carrot, celery, white wine, garlic, tomato paste) gluten-free flour, butter, thyme, salt, oil, green beans

Heating Instructions: (times may vary depending upon microwave oven)

Open lid.  Preferably place meal into a ceramic dish.  If not, place container on a plate to heat in microwave.  Alternatively, place container on a plate to heat in microwave.

From frozen: Heat for 4-5 minutes in microwave
From thawed: Heat for 2-3 minutes in microwave

 

Gluten-Free Info:

This, and some of our other gluten-free meals, are produced in small kitchens where they are prepared in an area away from other meals, on their own - but wheat is used in other dishes in those kitchens.  However, our Indian dishes (the Butter Chicken and those photographed in the Indian Brass bowls) are all produced in a kitchen that only makes gluten-free meals.

While we don’t add flavours, preservatives, colours, etc, individual ingredients we use - such as coconut cream/milk, tomato paste, wine, spice mixes, sauces, etc - may also contain their own preservatives/additives (although in very small amounts in proportion to the cooked dish).
