We've focussed on the flavour with this one, rather than pure heat, and it gives off a fabulous aroma whilst it's heating up in the kitchen. The chef has taken great care to let this gently bubble along whilst cooking, so that all the flavours slowly develop into a rich, deep meaty sauce. It's packed full of flavour yet milder on spice-heat than you might expect. For those who like it hot, we'd suggest just adding a dash or two of Tabasco or chilli oil to suit your own tastebuds.
Ingredients:
Chili (49%): Beef, crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, our beef stock (water, beef bones, tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, bayleaf, peppercorns) red onion, red capsicum, carrot, oil, garlic, cacao powder, ground cumin, salt, paprika, oregano, red wine vinegar, chilli powder, coriander, cayenne powder, bayleaf
Rice
Heating Instructions:
Open lid. Preferably place meal into a ceramic dish. If not, place container on a plate to heat in microwave. Alternatively, place container on a plate to heat in microwave.
If thawed: Heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring once. Let stand for 1 minute. Time may vary, depending on microwave oven.
If frozen, allow longer heating time.
