Our chef puts the lamb in the oven at 5 in the morning so it has enough time to gently cook until it’s fall-apart tender. Prime Aussie lamb shank is gently and slowly braised with our chef's own special vegetable sauce. The end result is full of deep flavour, and meat that literally falls off the bone (you can see that in this photo).
The rich and robust sauce is slow cooked with vegetables, wine and stock, and seasoned with fresh rosemary, bay leaves, thyme and mixed herbs.
We offer a main course size – two shanks in vegetable sauce to share. Just add your own carrots, beans, or other vegetables.
Or have a single serve, which comes with creamy mash, as well as the sauce. Plenty enough for a great meal for one, but you can always add your own extra veggies if you wish.
