A beautifully meaty, hearty dish

Lean beef gently simmered with tomato, mushroom, onions & paprika

500g - Serves 2-3

High Protein: 77.1g

Gluten Free

Pure lean, prime topside is slowly simmered with tomato, mushroom, onions and three types of paprika till it's fall-apart tender. It's a wonderfully deep, meaty, nourishing dish that's full of flavour, with just a hint of background spice. Just add a dollop of our creamy potato mash and you have a truly warming dish on a cold winter's night!

Ingredients:

Beef, tomato, mushroom, onions, sour cream, paprika, tomato paste, beef stock, brown sugar, parsley

Allergen notice:  This dish contains dairy

Heating Instructions:

This stroganoff can be reheated in the microwave from frozen. However, when we eat these we find that for absolutely best results - ie to keep the beef at its most tender - it's best to gradually defrost it in the fridge (overnight or during the day) and then quickly heat it up in the microwave once its defrosted. Warning:  The beef has been cooked till tender. Please be gentle with it!  If you overheat or blast this meal in the microwave the beef will unfortunately go tough.

(General guidelines, but they are dependent upon the power of your microwave)

Open lid.  Preferably place meal into a ceramic dish.  If not, place container on a plate to heat in microwave.  Alternatively, place container on a plate to heat in microwave.

  • From frozen: Lift lid, heat for 2-3 minutes in microwave, stir, heat again. Let stand for 2 minutes
  • From thawed: Lift lid, heat for 1-2 minutes in microwave, stir, heat again.Let stand for 2 minutes

Gluten-Free Info:

This, and some of our other gluten-free meals, are produced in small kitchens where they are prepared in an area away from other meals, on their own - but wheat is used in other dishes in those kitchens.  However, our Indian dishes (the Butter Chicken and those photographed in the Indian Brass bowls) are all produced in a kitchen that only makes gluten-free meals.

General notices re allergens:

While we don’t add flavours, preservatives, colours, etc, individual ingredients we use - such as coconut cream/milk, tomato paste, wine, spice mixes, sauces, etc - may also contain their own preservatives/additives (although in very small amounts in proportion to the cooked dish).
