A beautiful Italian dish for those who want a dose of Italy (with a little background kick of spice!)
Soft, small pillows of hand-made beef and mortadella tortellini are covered in a generous sauce made with Italian sausage of pork mince, fennel and tomato, with a touch of spice. A classic Roman style dish.
All made by our Italian chef - including the pasta - which is made by hand every day.
Ingredients:
Pasta: Durum Semolina, Flour, Eggs, Water, Salt
Filling: Beef (44.1%), Mortadella (22%), Flour (Wheat), Grana Padano Cheese, Eggs, Salt, Pepper, Nutmeg
Sauce: Peeled Tomato, Pork Mince, Roman Sausage Mince (14.7%), Tomato Paste, Bechamel, White Wine, Olive Oil, Onion, Celery, Carrots, Garlic, Fennel, Chilli Flakes, Fresh Parsley, Fresh Basil, Salt, Pepper, Sugar
Garnish: Aged Grana Padano cheese

The pasta recipe has been amended to compensate for the freezing - so that when it's reheated it's as perfect as when it was fresh. Please keep frozen until reheating, or the quality and texture of the pasta will not be as good as it could be.
7 minutes defrost, stir, and then 4 minutes cooking time
The liquid from the sauce can separate a bit when it's reheated - just give it a good stir to make it all blend back together again
